Lauren Schechinger has a strong background in UX design and product development. Lauren is currently employed as the UX Design Lead at EF Education First. Prior to this, they worked at EverQuote as a Senior Product Designer, where they played a key role in the launch of Eversurance, a direct-to-consumer health and medicare agency. Lauren also worked at Wayfair as a Product Designer, focusing on the development of Arlow, an end-to-end project management solution for interior designers. Before that, they gained experience as a User Experience Designer at Genuine, where they worked with various client teams to create user experiences and strategic solutions. Lauren started their career at OHO Interactive, first as a UX Designer and later as an Information Architect, where they collaborated with teams and clients to design innovative web functionality and interfaces. Lauren also served as an Interaction Designer at SmartPak, implementing design solutions based on best practices and conducting user testing. Throughout their career, Lauren has demonstrated a strong ability to lead design projects, conduct research, and create user-centered experiences.

Lauren Schechinger holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from Northeastern University.
