Craig Barton has worked in the education sector for over 15 years. In 2005, they began as a Mathematics Teacher at Range High School. In 2009, they took on the role of Maths Adviser at TES Global Limited, where they were responsible for helping co-ordinate the largest network of maths teachers in the world. In 2011, they began working as a Mathematics Teacher at Thornleigh Salesian College, where they also gave maths teacher training, ran workshops, and delivered keynote conference addresses around the world. In 2014, they co-founded Barton Woodhead Education Ltd, an education technology company, and their first product is diagnosticquestions.com. In 2016, they became the Co-Founder and Director of Education at Eedi.
Craig Barton obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the University of Cambridge between 2000 and 2003. Craig then attended the University of Nottingham, where they received a PGCE in Secondary Maths in the field of Mathematics Teacher Education from 2004 to 2005. In 2007, they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics at the University of Cambridge. Prior to this, they attended Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Blackburn from 1993 to 2000.
