Gary Neff has had an extensive career in packaging engineering. Gary started in 1988 as a Packaging Technologist at Heinz North America and held various roles such as Packaging Engineer, Senior Packaging Engineer, and Principal Packaging Engineer. Gary then progressed to become a Manager, Senior Manager, Group Leader, and then Associate Director in Packaging R&D at Heinz North America. In 2015, they became the Associate Director Packaging R&D at The Kraft Heinz Company after the merger with Kraft Foods. Gary also worked as a Packaging Consultant at Confluence Packaging, LLC from 2016 to 2017. Currently, Gary Neff is working as a Sr. Principal Packaging Engineer at Edward Marc Brands.
Gary Neff obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Packaging (Technical Option) from Michigan State University in the years 1985 to 1987. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Michigan State University in Lyman Briggs College Geological Sciences, with a concentration in Geophysics and a minor in Computer Science, from 1980 to 1985. In addition to their degrees, Gary Neff has taken 27 credits towards a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) at Boise State University. Gary has also obtained a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in 2018.
