Roxanna Denise Stevens Ibarra

Diversity Fellowship at Edutopia

Roxanna Denise Stevens Ibarra is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in music education, film critique, and production. Currently serving in a Diversity Fellowship at Edutopia since March 2022, Roxanna's previous experience includes acting as a Film Critic for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and working as a Music Teacher for the Tucson Unified School District. Roxanna has also contributed to various film projects, including music composition for "Death and Deathability," transcription services for documentary films, and sound design for "Love by Drowning." Additional roles include technical positions at Arizona Public Media and participation as a panelist for the Rita Moreno Documentary at the Sundance Institute. Roxanna holds dual degrees in Music Teacher Education and Film and Television from the University of Arizona.
