Joanne Conway is a Project Officer in the Flood & Water Management team at Hertfordshire County Council since May 2020, and has served as an examination marker for Eduqas since 1999, including roles as Team Leader and Practical Monitor. Joanne completed a Master of Science in Geological and Environmental Hazards at the University of Portsmouth from 2018 to 2019, focusing on glaciotectonic chalk rafts in Hertfordshire. Prior experience includes teaching A-level Geology at Coleg Cambria from 1994 to 2018, during which time various leadership positions were held. Educational qualifications include a BSc Honours in Geology from Royal Holloway, University of London, a QTS in Teaching Science/Geology from the University of Bath, and completion of studies at Yale Sixth Form College.
