Sherri Kulpa has extensive experience in the education sector. Sherri is currently the Chief Academic Officer at EducationPlus since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at EdPlus for six years as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction from July 2015 to August 2021. Before joining EdPlus, they held positions at Kirkwood High School, where they served as an Assistant Principal from July 2011 to July 2015, and as a Curriculum Facilitator from August 2006 to June 2011.
Sherri Kulpa has a strong educational background. Sherri completed their Bachelor of Science degree in English Education at Truman State University from 1985 to 1989. After their undergraduate studies, Sherri enrolled in Maryville University, where they obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on middle school. Sherri later pursued a Master's in Education from Maryville University of Saint Louis. Sherri's commitment to furthering their education continued as they earned an Educational Specialist degree in Secondary School Administration/Principalship from Lindenwood University. Sherri also completed a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Administration and another Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration, both from Lindenwood University.
In addition to their degrees, Sherri Kulpa holds several certifications. Sherri is certified by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a CPC Teaching English Language Arts Grades 5-12 and has an Initial Administrator Certification. Sherri is also an ISTE Certified Educator and Trainer, certified by the International Society for Technology in Education. Furthermore, Sherri is National Board Certified in Early Adolescence English Language Arts by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.
