Isaac Underwood has a diverse range of work experience in the tech industry. Starting in 2020, they worked as a Service Desk Analyst at Southern District Health Board during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting staff in setting up remote work capabilities. In 2019, they took on roles as a Teaching Assistant and Peer Tutor at Otago Polytechnic. Isaac then joined Education Perfect in 2021, initially as a Software Engineer Intern and later as a Junior Software Engineer. In this role, they gained valuable knowledge from experienced team members and contributed to the development of customer-facing features, including a major project utilizing microservice and micro frontend architectures. Currently, Isaac continues to work at Education Perfect as a Software Engineer.

Isaac Underwood attended Otago Polytechnic from 2018 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor of Information Technology degree in the field of Information Technology.
