James Sands has extensive experience in leadership and business transformation roles. Currently serving as a Leader at Inland Revenue NZ since April 2012, James oversees a team dedicated to the organization's transformational journey. Previous positions include General Manager at Education Payroll since April 2023 and various Front Office Manager roles at Crowne Plaza Auckland, Novotel Lakeside Rotorua, and Novotel Tainui Hamilton. James has also held multiple strategic and managerial positions focused on business planning and integration within Inland Revenue NZ, showcasing strong capabilities in managing initiatives and leading multi-disciplinary teams. James is an alum of The University of Auckland.
