Kara Fleshman has extensive experience in educational roles, currently serving as a Professional Development Facilitator and In-House Graphic Designer at Agency by Design Oakland since February 2021. Simultaneously, Kara has held positions at Education for Change Public Schools since August 2016, including Dean of Instruction and STEAM & Project Based Learning Lead, as well as Elementary Arts & Sciences Teacher. Previous roles include Middle School Expeditions Teacher & Mentor at Summit Public Schools, SEEDS of Early Learning Assessor at Kenneth Rainin Foundation, Science Instructor and Garden Manager at Education Outside, and Early Childhood Education Art and Science Specialty Teacher at Peregrine School. Kara holds a Masters of Education from Reach University and a Bachelor's in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems from the University of California, Davis.
