Questen Reynolds has a diverse work experience. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as an Intern for Congressman Nadler at the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2011, they were a Student Leadership Consultant at the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs at Ithaca College. From 2012 to 2014, they served as a Detroit Teach for America Corps member. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Marvin Winans Academy-Rutherford Campus. From 2014 to 2019, they had various roles at Achievement First, including Master Teacher, 7th Grade Level Chair, Leadership Fellow, and Curriculum Fellow. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Dean of Academics & Dean of School Culture and Principal in Residence at Achievement First. Since 2022, they have been working as a Design Principal at Education Elements.

Questen Reynolds has a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Urban Education and Leadership from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School, which was obtained from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science / Legal Studies from Ithaca College from 2008 to 2012.
