Phoebe Coughlin

Senior Design Principal at Education Elements

Phoebe Coughlin has extensive work experience in various roles related to education and design. Their most recent position was as a Senior Design Principal at Education Elements, where they started in December 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Design Principal at Education Elements from March 2022 to December 2022, and before that, they were a Design Associate from September 2021 to March 2022.

Phoebe also worked as a Design Principal at Scholarus Learning starting from March 2022. In addition, Phoebe worked as a Content Coach at TNTP from May 2021 to July 2021.

Phoebe has also had significant experience with Crescent City Schools, where they held multiple roles including Instructional Dean from July 2020 to June 2021, 7th Grade English Language Arts Teacher from July 2017 to June 2021, and 6-8 Team Lead from July 2019 to June 2020.

Phoebe served as a Mentor Teacher at Norman C. Francis Teacher Residency from July 2019 to June 2021. Prior to that, they were a Fellow, English 6-12 Certification at teachNOLA from May 2017 to June 2018.

Phoebe's earlier experiences include working as a Tiny Fellowship Intern at 4.0 Schools from January 2017 to May 2017, a College Counseling Assistant Intern at Collegiate Academies from August 2016 to May 2017, and holding various roles at Tulane University such as Vice President of Tours, Green Wave Ambassadors from April 2016 to May 2017, and Intern and Mentor at Tulane University Chapter of Upward Bound from January 2016 to May 2017.

Phoebe also worked as a WaveCorps-AmeriCorps Vista Summer Associates Intern at Tulane Upward Bound as part of AmeriCorps VISTA from May 2015 to July 2015.

Phoebe Coughlin attended North Salem High School from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a High School degree. Phoebe then went on to Tulane University, where they studied Public Health and Studio Art and received a Bachelor's degree from 2013 to 2017. During their time at Tulane, they also participated in a program at the School for International Training focused on South Africa, specifically community health and social policy, in 2015. Additionally, Phoebe has obtained certifications such as an Add On Certification in 6-12 Special Education, mild/moderate, and a Teaching Certification in 6-12 ELA, both from the Louisiana Department of Education, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
