Shaimaa Hosny, CMA, FPA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Finance Manager at the Education Development Center since May 2022. Prior to this, Shaimaa held the position of Regional Finance Team Leader at AMIDEAST from September 2013 to April 2022, where responsibilities included liaising with headquarters on financial matters and providing support to field offices across the Middle East and North Africa. Shaimaa's earlier experience includes working as a Grant Accountant at The American University in Cairo from April 2011 to August 2013, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines for grants. Shaimaa's educational background includes a Certified Corporate Financial & Analysis Professional degree from the Association for Financial Professionals and a CMA from the Institute of Management Accountants.
