Joyce Miya possesses extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as the Coordinator for Early Childhood Development at the Education and Training Connection and as a Senior Education Specialist with the Department of Education since August 2008. Prior roles include Head of Department at Abambo Primary School from May 1997 to October 2008 and educator at Isifiso Sethu Secondary from May 1994 to May 1997. Joyce Miya holds a degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Kwa Zulu Natal, completed in 1995, and is pursuing a law degree at the same institution, with studies ongoing from 2013 to 2018.
