Denecia K Grant, M.Ed, currently serves as the Dean of Students at Education and Training Connection since January 2022, where responsibilities include coordinating state assessment testing and facilitating teacher training. Previously, Denecia held the position of Science Teacher at North Saginaw Charter Academy and Saginaw Learn to Earn Academy, focusing on diverse student groups and various science subjects. Earlier career experiences include roles as Program Educator at YMCA of the USA and Environmental Program Coordinator at the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Trinidad and Tobago. Denecia's educational background includes a Master of Education from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Southern Illinois University, and an Associate’s Degree in Forestry from Eastern Caribbean Institute of Agriculture and Forestry.
