Somandru Costel is an experienced marine engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles aboard vessels. Currently serving as a 2nd Engineer at EDT Group since January 2023, Somandru has previously held the position of 3rd Engineer at both Prysmian Group and BOURBON, where Somandru worked from January 2016 to April 2022. Earlier roles include Motorman at EDT Offshore and multiple positions at Virtu Ferries and Seapal Marine Inc. Somandru holds a Master's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineer, Electromechanical Engineering, both obtained from Constanta Maritime University.
