Paula Carneiro is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in global human resources and organizational development. Currently serving as the Head of Global People & Organizational Development at EDP since September 2013, Paula oversees corporate HR policies for a workforce of 12,000 across multiple geographies. Formerly, Paula worked at InterCement from May 2011 to August 2013, leading the implementation of corporate HR policies for 12 geographies and managing significant restructuring projects. Previous roles include HR Director at Danone Dairy, EMEA HR Lead at Microsoft, and Human Resources Director at Banco Espírito Santo S.A. Paula holds a Licentiate degree in Organizational Behavior Studies from Ispa - Instituto Universitário, a Post Degree in Business Management from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, and a Post Degree in Ergonomics from Aix-Marseille University.
