Pim Messelink has a comprehensive work experience history. Pim started their career as a Helpdesk at Ministerie van LNV in 2000 and worked there until 2003. In 2003, they took on the role of Wissenschaftlicher Assistent at Fachhochschule Aargau until 2005. From 2006 to 2008, Pim worked as a Researcher at Fisba Optik AG, where they contributed to and led various projects in Optical Fabrication Technology and co-authored several patents. In 2009, they held part-time positions as a Researcher at Universidad de Chile and as a Profesor Honorario at Pontificia Universidad Católica de ValparaÃso. Pim joined Zeeko Ltd. in 2010 and served as a Team Leader of Process Development Optics until 2015, after which they became the Head of Process Research & Development until 2017. Currently, Pim is associated with Edmund Optics, where they started in 2017 as a Principal Engineer and gradually advanced to the role of Technology Manager from 2019 to 2020. Since January 2020, they have held the position of Director of Technology at Edmund Optics.
Pim Messelink's education history reveals a strong academic background in the field of physics. Pim received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics from UCL, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued their M.Sc. in Applied Physics at Delft University of Technology, from 1994 to 2002.
