Serena A. is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within K-12 learning environments. Currently serving as a Partnership Manager at Edmentum since February 2023, Serena has previously held significant positions including District Director of Assessment, Accountability, and Evaluation, and Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Chandler Park Academy. Serena's background also includes serving as Deputy Network Leader of Instruction for Detroit Public Schools and Manager of School Partnerships at Carnegie Learning. Early career experience encompasses roles as a Curriculum Leader and Mathematics Teacher within Detroit Public Schools and Southfield Public Schools. Serena holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Performance Improvement & Instructional Design from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Detroit Mercy.
