Guy Tasaka serves as the Chief Media Technology Evangelist and Technology Columnist at Editor & Publisher Magazine since April 2023. With a strong background in digital media strategy, Guy has been operating TasakaDigital since April 2008, focusing on building effective digital strategies and product solutions for publishers. Previous roles include Managing Director of the Technology Resource Center at Local Media Association, Vice President of Product at SideStage, Senior Director of Product Management at WideOrbit, and General Manager of Mobile at GateHouse Media. As Chief Digital Officer at Calkins Media, Guy launched Calkins Digital, innovating in OTT and mobile solutions. Guy co-founded vuOD, LLC, and has held positions at Page Foundry, Inc. and LibreDigital. Education includes a BS in Marketing, Finance, and Journalism from the University of Oregon and ongoing studies in Architectural Design at Portland Community College.
