Gordon Robertson has a diverse work experience in communications and public relations, starting as an Account Director at FMS Public Relations in 1998. Gordon then moved on to positions such as Senior Consultant at Media House International and Head of Communications at BAA Edinburgh Airport. In 2012, they became Director of Communications and Sustainability at Edinburgh Airport before eventually being promoted to Chief Communications and Sustainability Officer. In 2012, they also served as a Board Director at Marketing Edinburgh Ltd. Gordon'smost recent role has been as Chair Of The Board Of Trustees at Scouts Scotland since 2019.

Gordon Robertson graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Abertay University in 1995. Prior to that, they attended Grangemouth High School.
