Rachel Bowers is an experienced research professional with a strong background in managing social research projects. Currently serving as a Research Manager at EDI Global since March 2022, Rachel oversees a team and a portfolio worth $1.6 million focused on social research and surveys in East Africa. Previous roles include Senior Research Officer, where Rachel led mixed methods data collections for impact evaluations for organizations such as UNICEF and the World Bank, and Research Officer at the Overseas Development Institute, managing projects aimed at improving official statistics in Ghana. Rachel's early career includes positions as Qualitative Research Assistant at Azura Labs, Research Consultant at Durham University, Team Leader at Restless Development India, Director at Chasing Zero, Advocacy Intern at Christian Aid, and Management Information Systems Graduate Trainee at Charityworks.
