Gopal Devarapu has over 14 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Gopal began their career in 2006 at HCL Technologies as an MTS, where they implemented set-top box device drivers, USB, Battery power management, GPIO, and I2C drivers. In 2010, Gopal joined AllGo Embedded Systems Pvt Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer, where they ported Android Gingerbread to I. MX platforms. In 2012, Gopal moved to PrimeSoft Solutions, Inc. as a Senior S/W Engineer, where they were the module owner of a critical module of the project "Multi slot network Chassis Manager" and developed and maintained the module chassis manager. In 2014, Gopal joined INEDA SYSTEMS as an MTS, where they developed drivers for Ineda socs and worked on power management at the soc and board level. In 2018, Gopal moved to Polycom as a Senior Lead Engineer, where they ported secure u-boot, Linux kernel, device tree, and Android to Poly Next Gen Desktop phones, developed touch screen, mute, and LED gpio drivers, and integrated Android NextGen phone into Android 9. Finally, in 2020, Gopal joined EdgeQ Inc. as a Senior Staff Engineer.

Gopal Devarapu completed their M.Tech in Electronics from the National Institute of Technology Warangal between 2004 and 2006.
