Jeff Bier is a seasoned professional in the fields of electrical engineering and artificial intelligence, with a career spanning over three decades. As the Founder of the Edge AI and Vision Alliance since November 2010, Jeff Bier leads initiatives focused on advancing edge AI technologies and vision systems. Additionally, as President and Co-Founder of BDTI since January 1992, Jeff Bier has been instrumental in providing expert consulting and analysis in the digital signal processing and image processing domains. Jeff Bier also contributed to the IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP) 2016 as the Innovation Program Co-chair. Early in the career, Jeff Bier served as a DSP Engineer at Acuson from 1989 to 1992. Jeff Bier holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
