Chris Watt has a work experience that includes roles at EDF Trading and Copper Street Capital LLP. At EDF Trading, they started as a Spark Spread Trading Intern in July 2019. Chris then became a Front Office Risk Analyst in October 2019 and later a Senior Front Office Risk Analyst in February 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Analyst to the Head of Trading (Power) & Trading Operations Director at EDF Trading since August 2022. At Copper Street Capital LLP, they worked as a Research Analyst - Financial Institutions from July 2018 to October 2018.
Chris Watt pursued their education at several notable institutions over the years. Chris first attended The King's School Macclesfield from 2007 to 2014. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Exeter and received a BSc in Economics and Finance, studying from 2014 to 2017. Later, Chris decided to further enhance their knowledge by completing an MSc in Finance from Imperial College London from 2017 to 2018.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Chris also obtained certifications to expand their expertise. In 2023, they acquired the UK Financial Regulations certification from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI), and in 2022, they obtained certification in "Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI" from Microsoft.
