Jerome Le Hir has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry and electrical construction projects. Jerome started their career at Thales as an intern in 2003. From 2004 to 2007, Jerome worked as an Electrical Project Manager at Cegelec, where they were responsible for large-scale construction projects in France. In 2007, they joined EDF Renewables North America and held several positions, including Project Manager, Asset Manager, and Manager of Generation. Their role at EDF Renewables North America involved asset management, coordinating renewable energy projects, and managing personnel. In 2019, Jerome became the Associate Director of Asset Optimization at EDF Renewables North America, where they supported leadership in managing the business unit and spearheaded department initiatives. Recently, they took on the role of Director of Strategic Initiatives at EDF Renewables North America, where they are responsible for driving the implementation of key strategic initiatives to ensure the company's success.
Jerome Le Hir has a strong background in engineering and mathematics. Jerome started their education at Lycee Kerichen from 1998 to 2001, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering. Jerome then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at CPE Lyon from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they attended Oregon State University in 2003 and 2004, focusing on Electrical and Computer Engineering. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from MoreSteam in 2021 and completed the Leadership Development Program (LDP) at the Center for Creative Leadership in 2017. Moreover, they acquired First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in 2017.
