Paul Gallagher is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Head of Onshore Technologies at EDF Renewables UK & Ireland since September 2024. Previously, Paul held the position of Portfolio Director at FuturEnergy Ireland and Coillte, where notable contributions included leading teams to develop a renewable energy project pipeline and overseeing the successful delivery of wind projects. Career beginnings included roles at Origin Energy as a Renewables Development Executive and Wind Farm Project Manager, focusing on large-scale wind development and project management. Earlier experience consisted of engineering positions at AECOM and Byrne Looby Partners, as well as site engineering at John Sisk and Son Ltd.
