Mark Hazelton is a seasoned project development manager at EDF Renewables UK, leading the Blyth Phase 2 floating offshore wind project since July 2019. With a robust background in the renewable energy sector, Mark has previously held positions such as Environment and Consents Manager at EDF Renewables, Optimization Manager at The Crown Estate, and Marine Planner at the Marine Management Organisation, where Mark played a pivotal role in marine planning processes and stakeholder engagement. Mark's earlier experience includes managing flood defence projects at the Environment Agency and serving as a hydrographic surveyor at Andrews Survey. Mark holds a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Enterprise and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Geomatic from Newcastle University.
