Martin Zietsman is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in renewable energy project management, currently serving as the Head of Project Engineering at EDF Renewables in South Africa. With a strong background in leading engineering functions across sub-Saharan Africa, Martin has directed numerous projects through analysis, design, implementation, and commissioning phases. Previous roles include Project Engineering Manager and Lead Project Engineer at Enel Green Power, and Project Manager & Engineer at Enertronica Santerno S.p.A., where expertise in managing engineering teams, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, and optimizing project costs were pivotal. Martin holds a Master of Business Administration from GIBS Business School, a Postgraduate Diploma in General Management from GIBS, and a Bachelor of Engineering Honours in Mechatronic Engineering from Stellenbosch University.
