Magy Tarek is an experienced professional with a strong background in commercial management and research analysis. Currently serving as a Commercial Manager at ED&F Man since June 2017, Magy has also held various roles within the company, including Commercial Executive, Executive Trader, and Trading Assistant. Prior to this position, Magy worked at The Egyptian Center for the Advancement of Science, Technology and Innovation (ECASTI) from July 2013 to June 2017, where responsibilities included acting as a Senior Research Analyst and coordinating the Center’s Initiatives Committee to influence policymaking in science, technology, and innovation. Magy's earlier experience includes an internship at UN Women, focusing on media monitoring related to women's issues in Egypt. Magy holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, obtained in 2018, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, earned in 2012.
