Rebecca Hunter has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Department Manager for Dominick's Finer Foods. Rebecca then moved to Naperville Community Unit School District 203 in 2015, where they held the role of Learning Behavioral Specialist Assistant. In 2016, they began working for Metro Nashville Public Schools as an Educator, Instructional Coach, and Athletic Director. In 2019, they were a Teacher at Valor Collegiate Academies, and in 2021 they were an Academic Dean at Explore! Community School and an Instructional Coach Consultant at EdConnective. Finally, in 2022 they were a Founding Assistant Principal at Rocketship Public Schools, and in 2023 they became a Rentals Administrative Coordinator at Spectrum Sound, Inc.

Rebecca Hunter completed a Master of Education - M.Ed. in Adult Learning, Instructional Coaching, and Administrator Licensure Program from Lipscomb University in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Elementary Education and Teaching from Governors State University in 2015. In addition, Rebecca has obtained certifications from various institutions such as the Tennessee Department of Education, Illinois State Board of Education, and Lipscomb University. These include Certified Instructional Coach (2020), Educator (2016), ILL Administrator (2021), Educational Paraprofessional (2015), and Educator (2015).
