Marc Flammia has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Marc started their career in 1996 at GE as a Lead Dynamometer Engineer, where they led product line development and increased product margin. Marc then took on the role of Program Manager for Generator Technology, responsible for driving sales growth in the generation market. In 2001, Marc became a Six Sigma Black Belt and Technology Manager, implementing design processes and digitizing workflows. Marc played a vital role in transitioning Wind Energy manufacturing to an exporter. From 2006 to 2016, Marc served as an Executive at GE, focusing on technology and product management in Brazil, leading the business unit to significant growth. During their tenure at GE/ABB from 2016 to 2019, Marc was an Executive overseeing global engineering, implementing operational rigor and real-time performance monitoring. Currently, Marc is the CEO of ECUTEC LLC, involved in manufacturing reference standards and providing general EDM services for the NDT industry.
Marc Flammia has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University. Marc has also completed a Manager Development Course and a New Manager Development Course in the field of Management from Crotonville Alumni. Additionally, Marc has obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from PEO and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
