Deb Westlund, MS, CPHIMS, RHIA, CHPS, currently serves as the Manager of Health Information Applications at ECU Health, leading a team focused on customer support and the enhancement of various applications, including Epic EHR. Previously, Deb held the position of IS&T Manager for Applications Solutions at Hennepin Healthcare, overseeing a team that supported comprehensive Epic EHR revenue cycle applications. Additionally, Deb has experience as an Online Adjunct Instructor at Rasmussen University, where online courses in IT and healthcare management were developed and taught. Earlier in career, Deb directed the Health Information Management Department at Hennepin Faculty Associates, managing extensive staff and budgetary responsibilities. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Managerial Science from Amberton University, a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Psychology from Metro State University, and Associate degrees in Health Information Technology from Minnesota State Community and Technical College and Court Reporting from Rasmussen College.
