Jessica Garr, M.Ed. has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Head of School Resident and Founding Montessori Teacher at Bezos Academy since August 2022. Jessica also holds the position of Texas Curriculum Reviewer at ECS Learning Systems starting in February 2022. Prior roles include serving as Grade Level Chair, Math Content Lead, and Kindergarten Teacher at KIPP Texas Public Schools from August 2016 to August 2022, as well as Lead Preschool Teacher at BakerRipley from August 2014 to July 2016. Jessica began a career in education as a CASE/Americorps Member with the Harris County Department of Education in mid-2014. Academically, Jessica earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Learning, Design, and Technology, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, from the University of Houston. Jessica obtained a Montessori Teacher Diploma from The Prepared Montessorian between August 2022 and August 2023.
