Dries Vandevyvere possesses extensive experience in IT management, project management, and business mentorship. Currently serving as CIO at ECS since November 2023, Dries also operates as a Freelance IT Manager and Leader, Technology Advisor, and Business Mentor through the company Proj3ctS, which was founded in July 2019. Additional roles include acting as a Business Mentor at Ambits, EMS-Professor in Project Management at EHSAL Management School, and Lecturer in Project Management at KU Leuven Ghent Campus. Previous positions include leadership roles in IT strategic projects at Galapagos and various IT Project Manager positions at Itineris and Ablynx, alongside experience as SAP Project Manager at Dow Chemical. Dries holds a Master in General Management from Vlerick Business School and a Master in Civil Engineering with a focus on Computer Science from Ghent University.
