Angela Hedstrom

Senior Manager, Community Food Systems at Ecotrust

Angela McGregor Hedstrom has extensive experience in community food systems and education, with a current role as Senior Manager at Ecotrust since March 2014, where previous positions included Community Food Systems Manager and Farm to School Coordinator. Prior to Ecotrust, Angela served as a Curriculum Consultant for Oregon Harvest for Schools and Interim Director at New York Agriculture in the Classroom, where significant achievements included developing strategic plans and securing funding. Additionally, experience as Education and Communications Coordinator at Cornell Garden-Based Learning involved creating curricular resources and communication tools, while earlier roles in education included teaching and developing programs focused on sustainability at Shelburne Farms. Angela holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis & Clark College and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with emphasis on Environmental and Resource Studies from California State University, Stanislaus.
