Jake Byers, PE, currently serves as Principal/Vice President at Ecosystem Planning and Restoration since April 2024. Previously, Jake held multiple positions at Michael Baker International from December 2007 to August 2018, including NC Ecosystem Services Manager, Lead Ecosystem Engineer, Civil Engineer, and Civil Associate II. In these roles, Jake managed a statewide environmental team concentrating on stream and wetland mitigation, stormwater management, and water quality improvement. Jake's expertise encompasses ecosystem engineering, environmental restoration, hydrology, and sedimentation control, along with the design and management of natural resource projects. Jake earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from North Carolina State University.
