Matthias Herbert is an accomplished entrepreneur and consultant, currently serving as the Co-Founder of Tauberwerk since April 2024, which focuses on co-working spaces for fostering the start-up ecosystem. As Project Lead for freetree powered by Ecosia since January 2022, Matthias has been instrumental in promoting tree planting through online shopping. With a robust background, Matthias has also held positions such as Managing Consultant at Obvious Works GmbH, CEO & Founder at link-o-mat UG and freetree.io (acquired by Ecosia), and founding member of twire. Previous experience includes key roles at bezero and ROBINHOOD.club, alongside significant leadership positions at BMW Group, managing project teams and supporting customer data management initiatives. Matthias holds a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in Computer Science from Stuttgart Media University.
