Heidi Brooks is currently a board member at Economic Mobility Pathways (EMPath), but they have also served as the Chief Operating Officer at YouthBuild USA and the SVP and Director of Charitable Giving at Citizens Bank.

Heidi has always been passionate about giving back and helping others. This was evident early on in their career when they worked with the CEO-led board to set strategy and direction for Citizens' community outreach efforts. Heidi also launched a single, centralized online employee giving campaign called Citizens Helping Citizens that generated nearly $1 million in nonprofit donations.

In their most recent role at YouthBuild USA, Heidi oversaw a $25mm finance department, human resources, facilities, operations and IT infrastructure. Heidi was instrumental in helping the organization achieve its mission of unleashing the intelligence, positive energy and skill sets of low-income young people to rebuild their communities and their lives.

Heidi's experience in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors makes their uniquely qualified to serve on the board of EMPath. Heidi understands the challenges and opportunities that come with running a large organization, and they are committed to helping EMPath continue its work of helping people achieve economic mobility.

Heidi Brooks has a MBA from Harvard Business School, a MA from The Johns Hopkins University in SAIS-International Economics and African Studies, and a BA from University of South Carolina in Government and International Affairs.
