John Yiannis Paparistodemou is a Managing Consultant at Economic Consulting Associates (ECA), specializing in economic, regulatory, and policy advice across the Electricity, Natural Gas, and Water & Wastewater sectors since January 2019. Prior experience includes various roles at National Grid from September 2012 to January 2019, including Market Modelling Analyst and Power System Engineer, emphasizing energy market analysis, project evaluation, and network strategy. John also contributed to a Liquefied Natural Gas terminal as an Investment Planning and Performance Engineer and has held positions at Northern Powergrid and KIOS Research Center. Educational qualifications include an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cyprus, in addition to compulsory military service as a Military Police Sergeant.
