Tawn Kennedy is a seasoned professional in sustainable transportation and bicycle advocacy, currently serving as a Program Specialist and former Program Coordinator at Ecology Action since September 2019. In this role, Tawn oversees adult sustainable transportation programs, including initiatives focused on business member engagement, transportation demand management, and promoting biking through education and safety events. Prior to Ecology Action, Tawn held the position of Youth Program Director at Bike Santa Cruz County from June 2010 to September 2019, where the emphasis was on advocacy and community engagement to encourage bicycling among all age groups. Tawn also served as Program Director for Green Ways to School from July 2010 to February 2015. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, completed in 2004.
