Tessa Beentjes has held a variety of roles in the sustainability sector since 2010. In 2010, they were President of IxESN Wageningen, an organization providing services and organizing activities for international students in Wageningen. In 2013, they were an intern at CRP Henri Tudor, where they researched Cradle to Cradle management of material streams on business site Ecoparc Windhof. In 2014, they were an intern at Raad voor de leefomgeving en infrastructuur (Rli), where they were involved in an advise project for the Dutch government about the transition to a Circular Economy in the Netherlands. In 2015, they were a Consultant at UniPartners Wageningen, where they evaluated the "Kern met Pit" program of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Heidemaatschappij. Tessa is currently working at Ecochain Technologies as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, and LCA consultant. As part of the agile development team, they work on maximizing the business value of the Ecochain environmental intelligence platform.
Tessa Beentjes obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Milieuwetenschappen from Wageningen University & Research in 2012. Tessa then continued their studies at the same institution, graduating in 2015 with a Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental sciences. In 2018, they obtained a Professional Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum.org.
