Alex Brown is an experienced structural engineer with a diverse background in various aspects of structural design. Currently serving as an Associate at MHA Structural Design since May 2024, Alex has previously held the position of Senior Structural Engineer at Eckersley O'Callaghan, where responsibilities included acting as the technical lead for timber projects and managing engineering teams. At Heyne Tillett Steel, Alex contributed to refurbishment projects focusing on structural timber, while earlier roles included Project Engineer at Iesis Ltd, specializing in reinforced concrete framed structures, and Graduate Structural Engineer at Shire UK, handling small to medium-sized projects across different sectors. Alex holds a Master of Engineering in Civil and Structural Engineering from The University of Sheffield and a Postgraduate Diploma in Timber Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University.
