Michael Birk, MBA has a diverse range of work experience in the finance industry. Michael began their career as an Investor Reporting Analyst at Specialized Loan Servicing in 2005. Michael then worked as an Investment Accountant at Janus Capital Group before becoming an Equity Research Associate at D.A. Davidson & Co. In 2008, they served as an MBA Analyst Intern at a privately held Fund of Hedge Funds. Michael then worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Xcel Energy and as the Director of Finance at The Stage Fund. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Consultant at Monroe Avenue Consulting LLC, specializing in venture capital and digital media consulting. Most recently, Michael has been a Principal Financial Analyst II at EchoStar Corporation, where they have developed financial metrics, implemented key performance indicators, and prepared financial reports for executives.

Michael Birk received their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego in 2005. Michael studied Business Administration and Management, with a focus on International Business. Michael also pursued a minor in Spanish during their undergraduate years. In 2009, Michael Birk completed their MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business, with a specialization in Finance.
