Fan Zhang serves as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at EchoNous Inc. since January 2020, previously holding the position of Machine Learning Scientist. Prior experience includes research roles at Yale University from September 2014 to December 2019, where contributions involved classifying malignant liver tissue on MRI using convolutional neural networks and collaborating with cardiologists on 3D Doppler echocardiography for stroke risk modeling. Interned at Siemens Healthineers in summer 2018, developing a risk evaluation tool for lung cancer therapy and authoring invention documents for a radiotherapy treatment planning aid. Academic qualifications include a PhD and Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University and a Bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University.
