Michael Shipley has over 20 years of professional experience in the creative industry. Michael began their career in 2000 at Watson as a Senior Art Director, where they led creative direction and execution of traditional and digital marketing campaigns, co-developed strategic marketing plans, and managed brand and collateral. Michael then moved on to become the Marketing Manager, where they oversaw promotional and marketing activities for three corporate divisions. Following this, they were the Creative Services Manager, where they established an in-house creative team and managed all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. In 2008, they began working as a freelance graphic designer and art director, specializing in brand and visual identity, advertising, social media and web strategies, and point-of-purchase merchandising display. In 2022, they joined Echodyne as a Creative Director.
Michael Shipley has studied Graphic Design at The Art Institutes and Liberal Arts at Lethbridge College.
