Marquess Lewis is a technology leader with extensive experience in educational technology and data systems. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Echo360 since November 2024, Marquess previously held the role of Head of Education Engineering at Scholastic from August 2021 to November 2024. Prior to that, Marquess was SVP of Data Platforms and System Architecture at Starz, where responsibilities included cloud engineering and data infrastructure. Marquess also served as CTO at Unicon, Inc., focusing on learning systems architecture and strategic planning from February 2012 to November 2020. Earlier roles include CTO for Pearson Education, where Marquess oversaw software development and operations for US Higher Ed and K12, and various engineering leadership positions at cMarket and voter.com. Marquess holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
