Hans Slijp has a long and varied work experience. Hans began their career in 1985 as an Officer Counter Intelligence for the Koninklijke Landmacht. In 1986, they moved to Vroom&Dreesmann department stores as Manager Distribution Center and Project Manager. From 1989 to 1992, they worked at KPMG as a Senior Consultant Logistics Trade & Industry. In 1992, they joined PA Consulting Group as a Partner, where they were responsible for logistics, performance improvement and program management assignments. From 2002 to 2018, they held multiple roles at various companies. Hans was the Founder of Jaha Management, a consulting firm focused on innovation, performance improvement, project- and program management and interim management. Hans was also the Managing Director of Business Management at B&A Groep, a management consultancy firm focused at public sector. In 2013, they became the Chairman of the Board at Stichting CRE8 (Cre8 Foundation), an Amsterdam based social venture which focuses on supporting talent development and life guidance of special juveniles. Additionally, they were a Member Of The Supervisory Board at guruscan, a Business to Business provider of Knowledge management solutions. In 2018, they became the CEO of ECG-Excellence and the director of Peacs BV.

Hans Slijp began their education in 1969 at the Groen van Prinsterercollege. In 1977, they attended Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they earned a drs in economics and an MBA. In 1985, they completed their education with the School Militaire Inlichtingen dienst.
