Jonél Jordaan Schouwstra has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and talent management. Jonél started their career as an intern psychometrist at Work Dynamics in 2013. Later, they worked as a Training and Development Coordinator and Psychometrist at North-West University, where they gained experience in leadership development, organizational change, and psychometric assessments. In 2016, they joined CGLytics as an HR and Office Manager, responsible for managing HR processes and office operations. Currently, they are working at ECCO, where they have held various roles including HR Advisor and HR Business Partner for Global Sales. Jonél is currently serving as the People and Culture Lead for Global Sales, supporting staff and management in HR-related matters and aligning HR strategies with business strategies. Throughout their career, they have provided full-spectrum HR support and programs on a global basis, demonstrating their expertise in global talent management and HR strategy alignment.
Jonél Jordaan Schouwstra has a strong education background in the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Jonél obtained a Master's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit in 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Honours B.com in Industrial Psychology, graduating with Cum Laude honors in 2013. Jonél also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Psychology and Labour relations from the same university, which they achieved with Cum Laude honors in 2012. Before their university studies, Jonél completed their high school education at Potchefstroom Gimnasium. In addition to their academic achievements, Jonél has obtained several certifications in areas such as Leadership, Organizational Leadership, Personality Assessment, and HIV Counseling and Testing.
