Ben Barlow, CFA has extensive work experience across various industries, with their most recent role being Chief Financial Officer at ECA Solar. Prior to that, they held positions such as Vice President of Finance and Director of Finance at the same company. Before joining ECA Solar, Ben co-founded NW Holdings LLC. Ben also worked at athenahealth as a Director, Client Performance Insight and Director, Global Operations Strategy. Additionally, they served as the Director of Clean Power Generation & Building Retrofit Finance at the William J. Clinton Foundation - Clinton Climate Initiative. Earlier in their career, Ben worked as an Associate in the Investment Banking Division at Citi and held various roles at Khanty Mansiysk Oil Corporation, Energy Intelligence - Energy Intelligence Research, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia.
Ben Barlow, CFA has a BA in History from Yale University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended the University of Pennsylvania for one year before transferring to Yale. Ben also earned an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School from 2003 to 2005, and a Master of International Affairs (MIA) in International Economic Policy from Columbia | SIPA from 2002 to 2005. Ben obtained a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Practice from Boston University in 2016. In terms of certifications, Ben holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute, which they obtained in 2006, and they have also completed the REFM Certification (Levels 1-3) from Real Estate Financial Modeling (REFM) in 2016. Ben completed their high school education at Milton Academy from 1989 to 1993.
