Jeroen van Assen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.
Jeroen started their career as a Toolmaker at Gebo Gereedschapmakerij B. V. in Riethoven, Netherlands, where they worked from 1994 to 2001.
In 2000, they became a Mechanical Engineer at Saint Engineering, and their employment there lasted until 2003.
From 2003 to 2010, Jeroen worked at LGPhilips Displays as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on the development and production support of the corner suspension of the mask in CRT televisions.
During the same period, they also worked at Océ Technologies as a Mechanical Engineer, where they led a team responsible for mechanical deliveries in the development of a new black and white digital printer.
In 2010, Jeroen joined Irmato Industrial Solutions Eindhoven B. V. as a Team Leader and Account Manager. Jeroen was in charge of managing projects with an annual turnover of approximately €10 million.
Starting in 2015, Jeroen assumed multiple roles at Punch Powertrain, including Engineering Manager, Site Manager Eindhoven, and Director of New Product Development eDCT. Jeroen was globally responsible for the development and industrialization of a new hybrid dual clutch transmission, among other responsibilities.
In 2021, Jeroen took on the role of Deputy Program Director eDCT at Punch Powertrain, where they were responsible for the timely and qualitative delivery of the eDCT transmission to Stellantis.
Lastly, Jeroen is set to join ·¡²ú³Ü²õ³¦´Ç® in 2023 as Chief Technology Officer and Director of Engineering, leading the engineering organization to contribute to sustainable and emission-free transport solutions.
Jeroen van Assen received their VWO degree from st Joriscollege from 1991 to 1997. Jeroen then pursued a master's degree in mechanics at Eindhoven University of Technology from 1997 to 2003.
